The Acting Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, said the handover of the airport was a form of PT Vale Indonesia’s commitment to the South Sulawesi Provincial Government in developing Sorowako Airport.
“Of course this is a form of PT Vale Indonesia’s commitment to the government to develop Sorowako airport as a public service airport,” he said.
In addition, the Acting Governor also considered that the handover of Sorowako Airport was a form of PT Vale’s concern and concern for the people of South Sulawesi.
Especially the people of East Luwu who must be appreciated by the government.
On that occasion, the Acting Governor also conveyed his congratulations to the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Vale, Febriany Eddy, along with the President Director and the new line-up of the company.
“We also express our gratitude to Mr. Nico Kanter (the former CEO) for his dedication and synergy with the government so far,” he said.
